2) Help distinguish certain natural gemstones from synthetic gemstones: natural blue spinel, complex spectral synthesis, cobalt spectrum

3) Help distinguish some natural gems from artificially processed gems: natural green jadeite, three ladder shaped absorption bands at 630-690nm in the red light zone, and fuzzy Absorption band in the red light zone of dyed jadeite
